How to Order Your Minimalist Illustration


​Creating your custom artwork with A Grateful Note is a simple and collaborative process. Here’s how we bring your vision to life from start to finish:

1. Choose Your Illustration Type

Select the subject that speaks to you—this could be a couple’s portrait, a family photo, a pet, a home, or even a favorite moment captured on camera. If you're unsure whether a photo will work, feel free to email us for a quick review before purchasing.

2. Submit Your Photo

Once you place your order, you'll be prompted to upload or email your high-resolution image.

Tips for best results:
  • Choose a well-lit photo with clear outlines
  • Avoid blurry or dark images
  • Let us know if you'd like certain elements removed or simplified
We can combine multiple images (e.g. people from different photos) for an additional fee—just ask!

3. Customize the Design

Personalize your illustration with optional upgrades:
  • Text: Add names, dates, or a meaningful quote
  • Color Accents: Keep it classic black & white or add a soft color wash (digital versions for print only)
  • Format: Choose between digital file, printed artwork, or engraving on acrylic keepsakes (LED lamp , display frame, coasters, etc.)

4. Review & Approve Your Proof

You’ll receive a digital proof via email within the estimated timeline (typically 5–7 business days).
We include one (1) complimentary revisions—your happiness matters. Any additional edits can be accommodated for a small fee.

5. Production & Delivery

​Once you approve your final artwork:
  • Digital orders are emailed as high-res files
  • Printed or engraved items will be carefully crafted and either shipped or available for pickup in Toronto (M9N 1Y6 area)

​A: Yes! We can create a cohesive illustration from multiple reference photos. Just be sure all images are clear and show the subjects in the pose or angle you’d like. Additional design fees may apply for complex edits.
​Q: What file format will I receive for digital orders?
​A: You'll receive a high-resolution JPEG or PNG file, perfect for printing or sharing online. Let us know if you need a specific size or format (like PDF or vector) for your project.
Q: How long does it take to receive my order?
​A: Digital proof: 3-4 business days after full payment recieved Printed or engraved products: 2-3 business days after proof approval. Rush service may be available—just ask!
Q: Do you offer gift packaging?
A: Yes! We offer minimal and elegant gift packaging for engraved items, perfect for weddings, anniversaries, and holidays. Just add a note at checkout if it’s a gift.
Q: Can you ship outside of Canada?
A: At the moment, we ship Canada-wide only. For international inquiries, please contact us directly and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
Q: What if I need changes after the proof is finalized?
A: Every order includes one (1) complimentary revision. If you need further adjustments after final approval, additional fees will apply.
